5 Minute Chocolate Dessert – It’s Pretty Too!

Ok, it’s been a while since I have posted…but new babies have that effect. However, I am beyond excited about this new recipe I found and added onto to create this pretty dessert with endless possibilities. Bonus, you can actually create it in the 5 minutes after the in laws call and tell you they are “dropping in” for dinner!
Step 1: Minute Microwave Fudge Brownie

  • 2 Tbsp Flour
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Water
  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • Pinch of Salt

Dump all ingredients into a mug, stir, and microwave on high for 30 seconds. Set aside. Makes one brownie. Simply add the same ingredients for each additional brownie needed.

Step 2: Instant Cheesecake Pudding

  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 1 3.4oz pkg Jello Instant Cheesecake Pudding Mix (other brands will probably work, this is just what I had in the pantry)

Dump into a mixing bowl and whisk per instructions (2 minutes). Set aside. Each package will probably make 6 of these desserts.
Step 3: Crust

Mash up graham crackers, gingerbread cookies, vanilla wafers, or whatever cookie you want into small pieces.

Step 4: Layering

Add each of the items above in alternating layers to a pretty glass and top with whichever cookie you used. And enjoy!
Variation: This pudding would also be good layered with fruit! Hmmm…maybe tomorrow’s dessert šŸ™‚
