Bringing Home Beach
Not too long ago I was fortunate enough to find myself on the beautiful beach in this picture. As I have so many other times, I found myself thinking, “I wish I could replicate this feeling at home!” The color combinations that Mother Nature concocts are absolutely beautiful and certainly inspire a relaxing atmosphere. Since I don’t actually live somewhere with this view, I decided to see if I could replicate the idea with paint and furniture. Noted in this picture are the colors and manufacturers of the paint colors that you can use to truly bring this feeling into your home. Whether used in the paint, furniture, such as the table from Ballard Designs, or accent pillows, such as these from Pier 1, you can create an atmosphere that is truly reminiscent of the islands.
